YHWH's Spirit within us

We are given a down payment of the Ruach HaQodesh (set apart spirit) after Teshuvah (repentance) and Mikvah (baptism), after which we and our witnesses asked in Yahshua's name for fulfillment of the promise of the Ruach HaQodesh from YHWH for guidance and life.

The Ruach leads us to live according to YHWH's ways, and if we pay attention to that guidance, we will not walk in sin. We strive to be perfect as YHWH is perfect. We know that we are guided by the Ruach, by the fruits of the Ruach.

As we allow the Ruach to guide us, it grows with us. Every day we look for the lessons YHWH is teaching us, and we continually grow in knowledge of His ways, and His word. We do not seek to follow our will, but we follow His Torah.

We struggle against our sinful nature, and if we fail, we repent, continue to struggle, and overcome.

2Co 1:21 - 22 But He who establishes us with you in Messiah and has anointed us is Elohim, who also sealed us, and gave the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

2Ti 1:6-7 For this reason I remind you to stir up the gift of Elohim which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For Elohim has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of self-control.

2Ti 1:14 Watch over the good deposit that was entrusted to you, by the Set-apart Spirit dwelling in us.

Rom 8:13-23 For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live. 

 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim, and if children, also heirs - truly heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, in order that we also be exalted together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the esteem that is to be revealed in us. For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Elohim.

  For the creation was subjected to futility, not from choice, but because of Him who subjected it, in anticipation, that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage to corruption into the esteemed freedom of the children of Elohim.

  For we know that all the creation groans together, and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only so, but even we ourselves who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we ourselves also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

Eph 4:17-32 So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having been darkened in their understanding, having been estranged from the life of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart, who, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  But you have not so learned Messiah, if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in Yahshua : that you put off - with regard to your former way of life - the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the renewed man which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and set-apartness of the truth. 

  Therefore, having put off the false, speak truth, each one with his neighbour, for we are members of one another. "Be wroth, but do not sin." Do not let the sun go down on your rage, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands what is good, so that he has somewhat to share with those in need. Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for the use of building up, so as to impart what is pleasant to the hearers. And do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 

  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil. And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.

2Co 5:1-10 For we know that if the tent of our earthly house, is destroyed, we have a building from Elohim, a house not made with hands, everlasting in the heavens. For indeed in this we groan, longing to put on our dwelling which is from heaven, so that, having put it on, we shall not be found naked. 

  For indeed, we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we wish to put it off, but to put on the other, so that what is to die might be swallowed up by life.

  Now He who has prepared us for this same purpose is Elohim, who has given us the Spirit as a pledge of what is to come.

  Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Master - for we walk by belief, not by sight - we are of good courage, and are well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Master.

  So we also make it our aim to be well-pleasing to Him, whether being at home, or being away from home. For we all have to appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, in order for each one to receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

1Th 5:11-24 Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, as indeed you do. But brothers, we beg you to know those who labour among you, and are over you in the Master and admonish you, and to hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

  And we appeal to you, brothers, warn those who are disorderly, encourage the faint-hearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Messiah Yahshua for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, prove them all. Hold fast what is good. Keep back from every form of wickedness. And the Elohim of peace Himself set you completely apart, and your entire spirit, and being, and body - be preserved blameless at the coming of our Master Yahshua Messiah! He who calls you is trustworthy, who also shall do it.

Pro 24:16-20 For seven times a righteous man falls and rises, But the wrong one stumbles into evil. Do not exult when your enemy falls, And let not your heart rejoice when he stumbles; Lest YHWH see and it be evil in His eyes, And He turn away His wrath from him. Do not fret because of evil-doers, And do not envy the wrong; For there is no future for the evil-doer; The lamp of the wrongdoers is put out.

Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
