Baruch HaBa B'shem YAHWEH Matthew 23:39 - For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of YHWH

 I would like for us to consider what we value. There are many things, concepts etc that people value life, liberty, justice houses, cars, 'toys' neighbors, family, friends.. but Have we found our pearl that is priceless?

Colossians 3:12 - 13 Put on therefore, as the elect of YHWH, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as the Messiah forgave you, so also do ye.

Where do we hold our values? Are we seeking a reward? What reward is most important in our lives right now?

Romans 6:20 - 23 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to YHWH, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of YHWH is eternal life through Yahushua the Messiah our Saviour.

We see two rewards one:becoming servants to YAHWEH, righteousness, and everlasting life. the other reward is death.

Proverbs 11:18 - The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. Proverbs 13:13 - Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. Proverbs 17:13 - Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

 There are examples in the Scriptures, of those who have sought after a lesser reward. One, of whom spent much time with our Saviour. Yahshua knew all along who was kissing him, and yet to betray Him. Judas sought after a lesser reward, while having an awesome reward right in front of him.

John 6:60 - 64 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?  When Yahushua knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Yahushua knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

John 6:65 - 69 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. A gift  - a priceless GIFT! and yet

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. they did this because they did not understand

Then said Yahushua unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Kepha answered him, Rabbi, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.

HalleluYAH !  Faith!!  I believe they found their pearl of great price.

Even then....... not all John 6:70 - 71 Yahushua answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

What was Judas' pearl? John 12:3 - 6 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Yahushua, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. very sad, Judas' pearl is a worthless fake...

John 12:7 - 8 Then said Yahushua, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. Judas was pursuing a fake when he had a priceless pearl in front of His eyes.

Luke 22:2 - 6 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. Judas gained the approval of the chief priests and captains, and some money.... money, power, approval... There are many in this world who would not see anything wrong with placing great value on these. There are many who DO place GREAT value on these... In doing so, they become blinded.

Luke 22:47 - 48 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Yahushua to kiss him. But Yahushua said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? Do we do the same thing when we get wrapped up in this world? ....

Matthew 27:1 - 5 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Yahushua to put him to death: And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor. Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death;

Matthew 27:6 - 10 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; And gave them for the potter's field, as YHWH appointed me. Judas received his reward.

 Have you ever pondered, how we should feel towards those who place importance on worldly matters, who have and desire great gain?

Many worldly posessions, power, prestige? Those who work extremely hard at gaining this worlds riches... 'esteem', 'money', 'power', 'security' .... Whether they work hard for it, or not at all...... it is all vanity. Proverbs 24:17 - 20 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest YHWH see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

Yahshua says: Matthew 5:43 - 45 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven......

Matthew 5:46 - 48 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. HalleluYAH!

Matthew 6:1 - 2 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD...........

Matthew 6:3 - 5 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD........... a worthless reward... nonetheless, the reward they seek , which is very sad

Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. YAHWEH's reward is the one we should be seeking, asking for.. We should not despise those who seek a lesser reward..... whether out of ignorance.. or out of weakness. Even those who are greedy, pray that Yahweh will one day open their eyes. For He has surely.....one time in our life opened ours! maybe more than once?

Matthew 6:14 - 16 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. They have their reward...

Matthew 6:17 - 21 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also....

Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve YHWH and mammon.

Matthew 6:31 - 33Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of YHWH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The priceless pearl! seek ye first! Yahweh says He will do the rest!! Without faith, what a difficult saying to cling to! It is to easy to worry, and then erode faith. We see the examples in Scripture, Israel was taught over and over again not to try to rely on their own might

Matthew 16:24 - 26 Then said Yahushua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Brethren, we have to be careful about letting the cares of this world get in the way of our pearl of great price!

Matthew 16:27 - For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to YAHWEH must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. YAHWEH is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him!

 Luke 6:20 - 23 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of YHWH. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. behold, your reward is great in heaven

Luke 6:24 - 26 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. for ye have received your consolation.... reward...

Luke 6:27 - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, unto you which hear......

Luke 6:28 - 38 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. you shall be the children of the Highest! isn't that what we want?? we are being given examples of how YAHWEH's children behave! For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Romans 8:18 - 19 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of YHWH. HalleluYah!!!  The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the magnificence which shall be revealed in us.

1Corinthians 3:6 - 11 I have planted, Apollos watered; but YHWH gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but YHWH that giveth the increase.  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.  For we are labourers together with YHWH: ye are YHWH's husbandry, ye are YHWH's building.  According to the favor of YHWH which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahushua the Messiah. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahushua the Messiah. let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Corinthians 3:12 - 14 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. HalleluYAH  

Colossians 3:22 - 23 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing YHWH:  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to YHWH, and not unto men; whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to YHWH, and not unto men;

Who are you working for?? do it heartily, as to YHWH, and not unto men ............ whether a servant...or slave...or freeman... whatever we consider ourselves at the time... do it heartily, as to YHWH, and not unto men Colossians 3:24 - 25 Knowing that of YHWH ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve Yahushua the Messiah.  But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. Who are you working for?

John 4:34 - Yahushua saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work.
John 5:22 - For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Isaiah 40:10 - 11 Behold, the Master YHWH will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.  He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

His reward is with Him..

Isaiah 62:11 - 12 Behold, YHWH hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of YHWH: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.  

Psalms 103:8 - 13 YHWH is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.  He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.  He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.  For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.  As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.  Like as a father pitieth his children, so YHWH pitieth them that fear him.  

Revelations 22:11 - 14 "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.  "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."  Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
