Shalom all,

    We have several brethren in Eldon, MO that need prayer at this time:

1. Update on Jim:  At this point in time, Jim has had the following:

Surgery for burst anerurysm in his stomach
surgery to remove blood clots in leg
surgery to remove large intestines
surgery for repair work for a colostomy for the large intestine (which was removed on 8/3)
surgery to clean up leg muscle tissue
dialysis for his kidneys that they hope are just "asleep"
insertion of a trache so he can breathe better
removal of part of his leg.  They originally thought below the knee, but had to take more

  He has been awake, though not able to talk because of the trache.  At this time, they feel relatively confident that
there will be no infection in the leg, and they are not anticipating any more surgery.  Please continue to keep Jim and his family in prayer for his continued healing and strength and comfort for his wife and daughters.

2. Kenda Dinwiddie

   Kenda has not felt well for several months, dizzy, sick to her stomach, face swelling... and repeated trips to the doctor gave them no clue what was wrong.  I spoke to her mother Robin this morning (Kenda is 19 or 20 I believe) and found that she's been in Barnes Hospital in St Louis since Friday in very serious condition.  They have finally decided she has lupus nephritis.  Her kidneys have shut down, she has water on the lungs and heart, and yesterday she was having seizures.  Please pray that Kenda is healed if it be Yahweh's will, and to give strength and comfort to Robin.

3. Howard and Lisa Parsons

   Howard's mom fell on the same day that Jim's problems began.  She broke her hip, wrist, and a rib.  She passed away yesterday (8/14).  Howard also just recently lost a brother and sister within a day or so of each other (about a month or two ago).  Howard and Lisa are going to need Yahweh's comfort as they deal with this.
